Christmas rain chances are lower than previously thought

Full sunshine is expected for Christmas Eve today, with temperatures climbing over 60 degrees this afternoon.  We should stay above freezing Tuesday night under a mostly clear sky.

There’s been a positive change in the forecast for Christmas Day, as widespread rain appears very unlikely now.  Only some isolated-to-scattered showers are expected, with most of those occurring from late afternoon through Wednesday evening.  High temperatures on Christmas should reach the middle 60s.
