An opening date has been set for the new Dutch Bros location in Prattville.

Officials say the new drive-thru coffee shop located at 1874 E. Main Street will open to the public on Tuesday, December 31.

The hours for the new location will be 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Dutch Bros was founded in 1992 with two brothers purchased a double-head espresso machine and started experimenting with 100 pounds of coffee beans.

Officials say customers can expect a typical visit to feature upbeat music, energetic “bro-istas” and speed, quality and service.

Dutch Bros says it offers specialty coffee, smoothies, freezes, teas, and much more.

Dutch Bros says to celebrate the opening, customers will be able to enjoy medium sized drinks for $3 on opening day.

This will be the fifth location in Alabama. The other locations are in the Huntsville area.
