Rain expected on Sunday, followed by a prolonged cold snap
Montgomery’s temperature dropped into the upper 20s Friday morning, but a full supply of sunshine should help us briefly reach the 60-degree mark this afternoon. Saturday looks a few degrees cooler as dry weather continues.
Showers will become likely in warmer air Sunday, and widespread rain is expected for Sunday night. An Arctic chill will settle into Central and South Alabama early next week, holding high temperatures in the 40s for several days.
