Tallassee man killed in Elmore County wreck
A Tallassee man has been killed in a wreck in Elmore County.
Alabama State Troopers say 23-year-old Gavin Oryen Prescott Young was driving a car that hit a pickup truck driven by 24-year-old Tanner Lamar Colquitt of Wetumpka. Young was pronounced dead at the scene.
Colquitt was taken to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment.
The wreck happened at about 9:42AM today on Taylor Road, about four miles southeast of Tallassee.
