Georgiana Unveils New Veterans Memorial
The Butler County Veterans Association was birthed from a place of lack and now thrives within the Georgiana community. Veterans from each branch of the military represent the group and now those veterans have a memorial to call their own.
The names listed are of a hero who has served their country with bravery and strength. Not only those from Butler County but for veterans of all walks of life now have a place within Georgiana to reflect.
Situated on land that has been gifted to the Veterans Association in the form of a 99 year, rent free lease this memorial hopes to stand the test of time giving veterans a place to call their own, for years to come and giving citizens the chance to learn more about our military’ sacrifices.
