1 injured in overnight house fire
One person was injured in an overnight house fire in Montgomery.
Firefighters were called around 10:47 p.m. Tuesday to the 3600 block of Nottingham Drive.
Once they arrived, they found a single story home with smoke and flames showing.
While putting out the fire, firefighters made contact with a resident with heavy burns. The victim was taken to Baptist South ER for treatment.
There were no other injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
