Cyclist dies in Montgomery crash
Montgomery police are investigating a fatal crash involving a cyclist.
The crash happened around 10:18 p.m. Monday in the area of East South Boulevard and Woodley Road.
Once on the scene, officers located A 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and a bicycle.
The cyclist, 53-year-old James Strankman, of Montgomery, sustained life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment where he later died from his injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
