Autism Walk held in Montgomery

AutismĀ Support of Alabama is hosting a Walk forĀ Autism in Montgomery.
It’s one of several annual Walks for Autism being held across Alabama throughout April, coinciding with AutismĀ Acceptance Month.
People gathered for the walk at Ida Bell Young Park in Montgomery to show their support and to boost awareness.
I just want to know that they’re not alone and to get early intervention is the key. Give them the help and resources that they need in the sky’s the limits they owe our children and adults are unexpecting. They just need a little more assistance than others, that they can do anything that everyone else does,”” Chenique Jeffress, the Autism Support of Alabama manager, told Action 8 News.
The group’s mission is to help support those with autism spectrum disorders and their families through education and advocacy.
