ASTA to host golf tournament benefiting families dealing with cancer

The Alabama State Trooper Association is hosting a special golf tournament to raise money for two of their own.

The tournament is set to take place on Wednesday, June 11 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill in Prattville.

The money raised will benefit two ALEA families who are currently fighting cancer or caring for a loved one with it.

ASTA says the money will go directly to help ease the financial burden the families are facing.

Teams are still needed for the tournament. Whether you are an avid golfer or you just want to help make difference, ASTA hopes you’ll join them. Deadline to register is May 16.

For more information on how to join, contact Wendy Hobbie by phone at 334-264-2782 or by email at AlabamaTrooper1@aol.com.
