Two arrested in Troy double shooting

Troy Double ShootingTroy police have taken two people in custody related to a shooting earlier this month that left two people critically injured.

The incident happened on Wednesday, May 7 on North Knox Street.

Troy Police Chief Danny Barron said 20-year-old Da’Quan Brantley turned himself into authorities on May 16 and 17-year-old Gavin Cogburn turned himself in on May 21. Both men are from Pike County.

Chief Barron said the suspects are charged with two counts of attempted murder and discharging a firearm into an unoccupied dwelling.
