1 dead, 2 injured in Christmas Eve crash in Dallas County

A two-vehicle crash in Dallas County on Christmas Eve has claimed the life of a Selma man and injured two others.

It happened around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday on Dallas County 77 near Providence Avenue, approximately two miles south of Selma.

Troopers say 23-year-old Antonio D. Garror, Jr. was fatally injured when the car he was driving was hit by another vehicle.

Garror, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time, was pronounced dead on the scene.

Troopers say the passenger in Garror’s vehicle was also injured and taken to Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma for treatment.

The driver of the second vehicle was also taken to the same hospital with injuries.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
