Warm Tuesday; Showers Wednesday; Sunshine Thursday, Friday
Low clouds and fog filled the central and south Alabama sky early Tuesday morning. By midday, the sky was partly to mostly cloudy with temperatures near 70°. High temperatures range from the low to mid 70s Tuesday afternoon, while our area remains dry despite some cloudiness. Tuesday night becomes cloudy, with low temperatures in the mid to upper 50s.
Some showers appear possible Wednesday, as a cold front moves through Alabama. However, rain coverage looks isolated to widely scattered at best. Rain amounts remain light, ranging from just a trace to perhaps a tenth of an inch. Rain comes to an end Wednesday night, with a clearing sky and cooling temperatures as the front pushes south of our area. Temperatures fall into the 40s by early Thursday morning.
