Three Elmore Co. Residents Charged with Drug Possession, Child Endangerment
Three Elmore County residents are now facing numerous drug and child endangerment charges stemming from two different drug operations.
On January 27th, the Central Alabama Drug Task Force arrested Holley Clearly at her home in Elmore. She was charged with Trafficking of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Clearly’s 14-month-old son was at her home during her arrest. Clearly was also pregnant at the time of her arrest and admitted to smoking meth during her pregnancy. She also faces an additional charge of Chemical Endangerment of a Child. Clearly’s bonds total $198,000.
On January 28th, the Central Alabama Drug Task Force along with the Millbrook police and Elmore County Sheriff’s Deputies served a warrant on Nixon Road in Deatsville. Agents found synthetic marijuana, or “spice” in the home and also discovered that the drug was being kept near two small children and their possessions.
Corey Colvin has now been charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Chemical Endangerment of a Child. Colvin’s bonds total $53,000.
Megan Orr was also arrested in this case and charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Chemical Endangerment of a Child. Orr’s bonds total $39,000.
