Tropical Storm Bertha leaves behind damage in Gulf Shores

GULF SHORES, Ala. (WAKA) – Tropical Storm Bertha has left damage behind at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores.

The park has announced that its pier that extends into the Gulf will be closed as crews repair the damage.

The storm is off shore, moving westward from the Florida Panhandle. This afternoon, it made landfall at St. Bernard Parish in Louisiana.
