Protests Continue Around Montgomery

BLM0229 PIC 3Protesters lead by civil rights activists, Jamel Brown, gathered in front of the Montgomery Police Department on Ripley St,  protesting for the shooting death of Greg Gunn by a Montgomery police officer.
They vow to have protests and demonstrations in different spots in Montgomery until justice is served for the death of Mr. Gunn.
The protesters say not all police officers are bad but there are a few bad apples on the force.
“You were telling 17, 18, and 15-year-old black boys that they can’t walk in their neighborhood at three and four o’clock in the morning without having to be charged with a looks suspicious,” Brown said. “No we’ve got to change that type of dominion we want to bridge the gap between the police agency and the black community in Montgomery.”
Protesters plan a series of demonstrations at three different locations in Montgomery this Saturday after the funeral of Mr Gunn, The State Capitol, the Montgomery substation on Eastern Boulevard) and the Montgomery substation on Fairview Ave.
