Montgomery County commissioners had a lot to talk about during their county commission meeting this morning, but the day was bittersweet for some commissioners.

For some commissioners it was business as usual this morning, but for two commissioners it was the start of the final months of their terms, after losing in the last weeks’ Super Tuesday primary.

Jiles Williams of District four, and Andrew Hall of district five lost in the Tuesday Primary. Hall Lost to Doug Singleton, who picked up 67 percent of the vote. Williams lost to Isaiah Sankey by almost 500 votes.
Both commissioners say they’ll miss representing their constituents, and are already thinking about life after politics. Andrew Hall and Jiles Williams have eight months left in their terms, and both say they’ll help the winners make a smooth transition to the county commission.
