Phenix City LB Markail Benton commits to Tide
PHENIX CITY, Ala. (AlabamaNews.Net) — Chalk another one up for Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban, who Friday morning received his latest commitment to his incoming 2017 class of recruits, a four star linebacker prospect in Markail Benton.
“In my sleep last night, I tossed and turned thinking about Alabama and Auburn and which one it was going to be. When I woke up this morning I had my mind set on Alabama,” said Phenix City’s Markail Benton, who went on to say he thought there is better coaching at the Capstone than the Plains.
“Coach Saban, he knows what he’s doing. He’s got to know what he’s doing. He win championships,” said the 6’2, 240 lb Benton, who committed to Alabama with more than a dozen offers from other schools.
