Volunteers Spruce Up North Montgomery Community Center

Saturday several groups of volunteers helped fix up the Highland Gardens Community Center in North Montgomery.

Volunteers from the Convergent company helped paint and fix the community center.

They want to help reduce crime in several north Montgomery neighborhoods and make them a more lively place to live in the years to come.

The volunteers are hoping to give quality recreation spaces to the neighborhoods so kids have a safe place to stay away from gang activities.
