MPD Search for Memorial Day Weekend Shooting Suspect
On Saturday, May 28, at approximately 3:19 a.m. a Montgomery resident was shot while occupying a motor vehicle. The shooting occurred at the intersection of North Eastern Boulevard and Twain Curve during the Memorial Day weekend. The victim sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Video evidence was collected from a nearby convenience store in which captured the suspects making a purchase just before committing the shooting.
Investigators later discovered that the suspects were operating a vehicle that was stolen just hours before and that the vehicle belonged to the victim’s mother. It appears that the victim noticed his mother’s stolen vehicle and confronted the suspects in which led to him being shot.
