Troy University Chancellor Speaks on France Attack

People in France are still feeling the effects of the tragic attack last week. Isis claimed responsibility following the attack.

Troy University’s Senior Vice Chancellor, Walter Givhan says the attack came shortly before the country’s state of emergency would be lifted. Givhan worked closely with the french while serving in the U.S Air Force for 33 years. He says these incidents are something all western governments face right now.

“The attack on France came on the very day that they celebrate liberty, also fraternity and equality as part of their founding principles,” says Givhan.

As of Sunday, reports say 6 people were in custody for last week’s attack in France.
