Labor Day Activities Started Early in Montgomery

The City of Montgomery is celebrating Labor Day weekend with it’s first-ever music festival.

The Montgomery Music Festival was held at the train shed by the River Front. This is the fifth year for the Labor Day event, but the first music festival.

Officials are expecting four to 500 people throughout the course of the night. The event celebrates cultural heritage of different musical genres, and recognizes local artist.
