Selma Police Seeking “Person of Interest” in Attempted Murder
Selma Police are looking for a man they believe is connected to an attempted murder.
Police say a shooting happened in the 900 block of King Street around noon Sunday. Selma Police say when officers got there a short time later, they found out the victim was already at a Selma hospital. He told police he did not know what had happened. He was airlifted to a Birmingham hospital. for treatment.
Police tell Alabama News Network they believe 23-year-old Kirby Brown could be the shooter. They believe Brown and the victim had an ongoing dispute that escalated into violence.
