Local Family Wins on “Family Feud”
It’s an exciting day as Amy Dicks’ family and co-workers gather around to see “Family Feud.”
Getting to this point has been a long road. The Dicks family put in hours of practice and beat out a thousand other people to get on the show.
“We started in May practicing. That was our first audition, and then when we got the call back at the end of May to come back in July, it was every weekend we practiced,” said Ashley Dicks, Amy’s sister-in-law.
And the hard work paid off.
The Dicks made it to the last round where Amy and Ashley went to play for fast money…. And won $20, 000.
“It was one of the best moments of our life. We had a fantastic time. We would go back again,” said Amy.
But keeping the secret of what happened on the show has been difficult.
“It feels so good since its been hard to keep everything in. So it was exciting for everyone to watch and share the news,” said Amy.
Co-workers tell us they couldn’t be happier for Amy and her family.
“We’ve all been super excited for her and we’re hoping they would win lots of money and they are on their way. Can’t wait to see the next episode,” said Sherry Johnston.
The Dicks family will come back as defending champions on the game show Tuesday, November 11th at 3:00pm on ABC Montgomery.
