Alabama Ranked No. 1 in College Football Playoff
Alabama is number one. That’s according to the most recent College Football Playoff rankings.
The Crimson Tide beat out undefeated FSU, Oregon and Mississippi State for the lead spot.
This comes after they knocked off the number one team in the country, Mississippi State, over the weekend.
    Sports analyst John Longshore says Alabama deserves to be at the top.
    And he thinks they have a good chance of staying in the final four.
“It’s hard to not have an undefeated team at number one, there’s been a lot of talk about FSU, previously they had not been number one. They had been knocked out by MS State… I could certainly see both Alabama, if they continue to win, and MS State, if they continue to win, being in the final 4 when it’s all said and done,” said Longshore.
 Alabama still has two more games to play, including the Iron Bowl November 29th.
