Perry Co. Sheriff’s Dept. Investigates New Years Eve Disappearance
From the West Alabama Newsroom– The Perry County Sheriff’s Department needs your help — to locate a missing man.
Authorities say 49 year old Samuel Payne went to a party New Years Eve night — and hasn’t been seen since.
They say Payne has a bald head and wears a beard. He’s 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a bluish-gray long sleeve shirt, a tan hat , blue jeans and tan tennis shoes.
Stephanie Payne is the missing man’s wife.
“Its overwhelming,” she said. “My heart’s breaking because this month Sammy and I would have only been married for six months and I know something has happened to him because he wouldn’t just leave me you know.”
