Two Suspects Arrested For Ice Drug Possession

Two people are behind bars for allegedly having the drug ice in their home.

Pike County Sheriff Russell Thomas says Consuelo and Donald Long were charged with possession of a controlled substance.

The sheriff says investigators with the sheriff’s office and Brundidge police searched their home yesterday off HIghway 93 in Brundidge.

They allegedly found 15 grams of ice, three firearms, scales, baggies and other drug paraphernalia.

They are being held in Pike County Jail. Donald on $10,000 bond and Consuelo on $7,500 bond.

“Drug addictions comes the thefts and the burglaries and the thefts and forgeries to be able to obtain things necessary to get drugs or to sell for drugs. So, anytime you can make an arrest and arrest a drug dealer, it’s a plus plus and a win win for the community and the county,” Sheriff Thomas said.
