Rep. Terri Sewell Hosts Town Hall Meeting in Hayneville
From the West Alabama Newsroom– Congresswoman Terri Sewell hosts town hall meetings in Lowndes and Montgomery counties.
Dozens of people took part in the one Friday morning at Hayneville Town Hall.
Sewell travels around the 7th congressional district holding town hall style meetings each year.
She says the meetings are her chance to talk to the people she represents — and their chance to talk to her.
“To really talk with me about the issues that they, that matter to them most and try to come to some collective understanding on how we can address those issues,” she said.
Sewell also held a town hall meeting in Montgomery at city hall.
