Thanks to an approaching cold front, a few showers appear possible Sunday morning. However, Sunday looks far from a washout. With some afternoon sunshine, temperatures warm into the mid to upper 70s, at least south of I-85.
Sunday night looks cool again with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s. Monday looks mainly sunny and very warm, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.
Saturday night looks clear and cool, with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s. Sunday looks like another nice day, with a mainly sunny sky and high temperatures in the low 70s.
The sky clears Friday night, and temperatures turn cooler by Saturday morning. Lows range from the low to mid 40s. The weekend looks mostly sunny with mild to warm afternoon temperatures.
Rain returns Friday. A band of showers and perhaps storms arrives in west Alabama during the morning. It moves into east Alabama during the afternoon.
Wednesday afternoon looks partly to mostly cloudy and mild, with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Temperatures remain warmer Wednesday night. Lows range from the mid to upper 40s.
Rain gradually spreads across the rest of our area Sunday night into Monday morning. Most locations pick up half an inch to one inch of beneficial rain.
Clouds increase Saturday night, preventing temperatures from falling. In fact, they may rise a bit, into the mid 30s by sunrise Sunday. Sunday looks partly to mostly cloudy, but dry during the day. Temperatures warm to near 60°.
Low temperatures could be as cold as the upper teens to low 20s Monday morning. However, wind chill values could be even lower, between 5 and 15°. Tuesday, snow totals of 1-3″ across our area may cause difficult or dangerous travel conditions.
Rain comes to an end Saturday night, and temperatures turn much colder as arctic air invades not only our area but much of the United States.
