Officials with the Pike Road Fire Department said some local fire department are so shorthanded, they hope they have enough staff to answer calls.

WAKA 8 has confirmed that a seventh person was killed in the tornado that hit Autauga County Thursday.
UPDATE: Crash Closes I-85 Northbound in Macon Co. and Macon Co. Rd 97
Officials now say a malfunctioning boom truck is responsible . The incident happened 8:17 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13 on I-85 Northbound in Macon County.
