State Drivers License Division To Offer Saturday Hours

Alabama’s Drivers License Division will begin offering services on Saturdays at three of its locations. Saturday services will be available for first driver license issuances, out-of-state transfers, and knowledge and road skills tests. Former Wetumpka City Councilman Percy Gill has died. Mayor Jerry Willis has confirmed Percy Gill died Thursday night. Willis says Gill suffered a stroke a few days ago. Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies are on a manhunt this afternoon. After 15 inmates killed themselves within 15 months, a federal judge is weighing whether the Alabama prison system is doing enough to prevent suicides. Judge Says Alabama Won’t Be Forced to Change Congressional Districts Before 2020
