A judge has rescheduled a hearing on indicted House Speaker Mike Hubbard’s request to dismiss ethics charges against him. Eight people have been arrested in a massive drug investigation conducted in Tallapoosa County. Officials say the investigation began with a complaint about possible drug activity near Benjamin Russell High School. A Deatsville man is in critical condition following a two-car accident at the intersection of Highway 14 and I-65 in Elmore County Thursday night.
