Parents Relieved after Wetumpka Middle School Lockdown is Over
Scary moments Friday morning after Wetumpka Middle School was placed on lockdown.
The school was deemed safe and opened back up a couple hours later. Authorities say it was all because of threats made over social media and text messages. Wetumpka Police, Elmore County Sheriff’s Office, and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.
