Tonight, we’re updating you on the case of Mark Watkins, who was killed in a drive-by shooting six years ago outside of a friend’s Montgomery home.

Alabama News Network Is Taking Action Against Crime

Tonight — The death of Mark Watkins was found dead six years ago outside of a friend’s home on Lark Drive in Montgomery. The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office says the murder happened in February 2008, when Watkins walked outside and heard a car drive by and honk its horn. He was shot in the chest and died of those wounds. The identity of the shooter is still a mystery.

State Troopers Investigating A Fatal Wreck In Pike Co

State troopers are investigating a fatal accident in Pike County. They say the victim was a Troy resident identified  as 48 year old Herbert Pollard, who was a passenger in the vehicle. The driver was injured, he is identified as 33 year old Demetric Upshaw. The accident happened Sunday on pike Road 2214 four miles south of Troy. No other…
