Tonight — The death of Mark Watkins was found dead six years ago outside of a friend’s home on Lark Drive in Montgomery. The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office says the murder happened in February 2008, when Watkins walked outside and heard a car drive by and honk its horn. He was shot in the chest and died of those wounds. The identity of the shooter is still a mystery.
State troopers are investigating a fatal accident in Pike County. They say the victim was a Troy resident identified  as 48 year old Herbert Pollard, who was a passenger in the vehicle.
