Another suspect has pleaded guilty to being involved in a brawl on a dock at Montgomery’s riverfront this summer.
A Black Harriott II riverboat co-captain who was attacked in a brawl in downtown Montgomery pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a misdemeanor assault charge filed by one of the white boaters in the melee.

Five people charged in the riverfront brawl in downtown Montgomery that drew national attention have pleaded not guilty to assault and disorderly conduct charges.
The co-captain of the Harriott II riverboat was hanging on “for dear life” as men punched and tackled him on a boat dock, he told police after video of the brawl was shared online.
Montgomery police say a man has turned himself in and is being charged in connection to Saturday’s brawl at the riverfront downtown.
21-year-old Mary Todd turned herself in Thursday and is currently in the municipal jail.
