Dominique Mitchell Signs with Shelton State

MONTGOMERY, AL — Another Carver basketball player has signed on to play on the court at the next level.
Dominique Mitchell signed with junior college Shelton State in Tuscaloosa. Mitchell hopes to play there two years, work on his college degree, and then make a jump to a division one school .
“Now I’ve got a chance like everybody else,” said Mitchell. “Now I know I’m going to a good school to get an education.”
Mitchell is 6’10” and growing, and was part of Carver’s championship team this season.
“I feel like a million dollars,” Mitchell said.
