An Active Weather Pattern Ahead
A rather quiet weather pattern for late April. We’re expecting several days of partly to mostly sunny skies. Temps will warm above average and rain chances continue to look slim through the workweek. There are signs we enter into an active weather pattern over the weekend. Scattered showers and t-storms are likely. There’s even a severe storm threat possible for us early next week!
In the mean time, you can expect a mostly cloudy sky overhead tonight. Temps will fall into the mid 50s for lows. Wednesday is looking partly sunny with temps climbing into the lower to 80s for highs.
The latter half of the week isn’t looking any different than the first half. There will be a sun/cloud mix with temps warming into the lower to mid 80s and lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
A frontal boundary will push closer to the region during the upcoming weekend. Moisture will be on the increase and we’re expecting scattered showers and t-storms to develop.  This gives us a little hope for some much needed rainfall. At this point, we don’t see anything particularly strong or severe over the weekend. I should mention that won’t be the case early next week. More rain and storms will head our way and some storms could be strong to severe. It’s something we’re watching and we’ll keep you posted.
