Avery Johnson Jr will tranfer to Bama, Anthony Grant is off to the NBA
TUSCALOOSA, AL —Â Texas A&M guard Avery Johnson Jr. will transfer to Alabama to play for his father.
The younger johnson was granted his release by the Aggies today as part of a mutual decision to part ways. Avery Jr. will not be eligible to play this season under NCAA transfer rules.

According to gatorsports.com, Anthony Grant will join Billy Donovan and the Oklahoma City Thunder as an assistant to the team.
The move comes one day after Florida hired Mike White as their new coach.
