TUSCALOOSA, AL — The son of Alabama basketball coach Avery Johnson tweeted out that he is officially part of the Crimson Tide basketball team.
Avery Johnson Jr. transfered from Texas A&M not long after his father got the job at Alabama. His move to follow his dad is now official.
Johnson Jr. took a visit to Alabama last week. He is expected to remain at point guard for the Crimson Tide.
