TORONTO, CANADA — Former Alabama QB Blake Sims is searching for another professional football job.

Nine days after signing with the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL, he was released by the team.

Toronto coach Scott Milanovich said Sims had the it factor but missing rookie camp and training camp did not work in his favor.

Sims threw for 3487 yards and 28 touchdowns during his only year as the Crimson Tide’s starting QB. He led them to the first ever College Football Playoff.
