MONTGOMERY, AL — Local track star Reggie Hill is using his training time to also help kids in the Montgomery area.

Hill is currently preparing to try and break the world record for the quitathalon for the age group from 50 to 54.

While doing this, he is setting aside time to train local athletes of all ages on the fundamental techniques of track and field events. He says it’s not just about individual accomplishment, but about teamwork.

“Working as a team out here, and not just seeing how good you are, but working together with each other out here,” said Hill. “I teach them there is no winner out here if one person loses, everybody loses. If one person wins, the whole team wins.”
