Super Bowl Brings Big Business To Town

It’s arguably the biggest sports day of the year for Americans
Â
“Oh I love it, favorite time of year!” said New York native Jayson Pease.
Â
And it’s one of the busiest for restaurants across the country as well.
Â
Dreamland Barbecue has been working overtime today to satisfy a lot of take out orders.
Â
“This is going to be a great day.I’m expecting a great outcome. Usually our sundays are pretty steady, but today has been a big crowd, especially when kids eat free on Sundays,” said Jenlisa Knight, employee at Dreamland.
Â
They’re also expecting a big crowd to come in and watch the game.Â
Â
“That’s right. We have a lot of parties set up. We have a party of 25 that’s supposed to be coming in around 5 oclock,” said Knight.
Â
Jayson Pease is in town from New York, and he’s been hunting for the best food in town.
Â
“Good food is important. Wings and beer of course during the Super Bowl.
Â
Speaking of wings, the national chicken council expects Americans to eat about 1.25 billion wings during the game, about 20 million more than last year.
Â
According to Nielsen, a majority of people stay home to watch the game, almost 9 out of 10 actually. But that’s still a lot of people who go out to watch the game.Â
Â

So far we’ve seen a lot of people come in, it’s going to be busy because it’s super bowl sunday. Everybody comes down to dreamland.Â
Â
Dreamland Barbecue expects to do over five thousand dollars worth of business between take out orders and dine in customers.Â
