Nursing Students at LBW Community College Celebrate Pinning Ceremony
Nursing students at LBW Community College are taking the first steps in their new careers in the healthcare field receiving their official pins.
Nursing students receiving their pin of distinction not only take on the responsibility of caring for others but considers the profession their calling. Â I feel that there are not enough people who are willing to reach out with a helping hand” says RN Triariel Rudolph, I feel that nursing is just the beginning of a way that I can help others”.
According to the Alabama Community College System Alabama is facing a nursing shortage as more nurses retirE than the number of new nurses entering the Healthcare field.
Each student achieves nearly 200 hours per semester of hands on experience before earning their Registered Nursing Associate’s Degree.
