Moisture On The Increase Leading To Shower & T-storms
Our summer heat isn’t backing off anytime soon. We’re expecting 90 plus degree heat through the remainder of the week and upcoming weekend. Heat indices will hover around 100 throughout the week. Rain chances will be increasing late week and over the weekend. All indications are the summer heat remains in full force going into next week as well.
In the meantime, a mostly clear sky with temps in the 80s through the evening and 70s overnight into early Thursday. Moisture will be on the increase and we’re facing hot and humid conditions Thursday through the upcoming weekend. Temps will manage the lower to mid 90s for highs. Rain chances will pick up and we’re expecting daily rounds of scattered showers and t-storms.
High pressure will build back into the area early next week. Mainly sunny and drier conditions will return. Temps will continue to manage the lower to mid 90s for highs. Heat indices will reach the triple digit mark and possibly a little higher at times.
