Free Christmas Tree Recycling in Montgomery

The recycled trees will be used to build fish habitat at public fishing lakes across Alabama.

Residents can take their Christmas trees to any one of the City’s regular Saturday trash drop-off points between 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on January 2 to participate in the program. Authorities say the man suspected of setting off a bomb in a recreational vehicle that rocked downtown Nashville on Christmas day died in the explosion. Alabama Department of Labor Launching Phone System to Help with Unemployment Claims

The Alabama Department of Labor will soon launch a new phone appointment system for people with unemployment compensation claims who need help. Montgomery Police Investigating City’s 65th Murder of 2020

On Saturday, December 26 at about 10:45am police and fire medics responded a shooting in the 4200 block of Mobile Highway.
