A federal judge approved a $60 million settlement for college athletes in a class-action lawsuit filed against the NCAA and video-game maker Electronics Arts.

A news conference has wrapped up in Phenix City on the Louisiana movie theatre shooting. Suspect John Russel Houser of Phenix City is suspected of opening fire inside a theatre in Lafayette, Louisiana, last night, killing two people and wounding nine others before killing himself.
