Sunday looks drier and hotter. High temperatures likely reach the mid 90s in many locations. However, heat indices may surpass 100° at times.
Storms remain scattered about through Friday afternoon. Thanks to the fairly widespread nature of rain so far, afternoon temperatures may remain in the 70s and 80s in most locations.
AL93, the area of low pressure located near the Mississippi/Louisiana coast Thursday afternoon, looks unlikely to become a tropical cyclone. Nonetheless, impacts to central and south Alabama remain the same- enhanced chances for rain for the rest of the week, into the weekend.
