The Catholic Knights will open up the season going head to head with the nationally ranked Central Phenix City Red Devils in the AHSAA Kickoff Classic.

Jacob Ozment is named the next head football coach at Lee-Scott Academy. Ozment has been with the program for the past six seasons as the defensive coordinator.

Running back Tristin Blackmon and Defensive Lineman Jake McConnell both signed Division I Football Scholarships during the early signing period. Blackmon is headed to Bowling Green, while McConnell is off to Murray State.
