Part of central Alabama, including much of our viewing area, was upgraded to an excessive heat warning Friday morning. It continues until 9PM Friday. Heat indices could be up to 112°.
Thursday afternoon looks very hot, with temperatures in many locations reaching the mid to perhaps upper 90s. Meanwhile, heat indices range from 105° to 110° for many.
